"Right." you said as you took hold of the barrel containing the substance, "Thank you for the help. Usually it would be spread by plane, but I think you can pull it off!" "Justice Kabuto!" the foreman said, "We prepared an air-spread payload of the insecticide. Some civilians who had managed to block the mosquitoes from entering cheered on as you flew to the horizon.Īfter finding the chemical plant, you saw several workers in protective gear waving over to you. "Justice Kabuto!" a hero on a nearby rooftop said as he used a flamethrower to ward off the swarm, "We need you to fly over to the nearby chemical plant and shower the area with the insecticide they're producing there!" "Just what's with this nonsense?" you said, "Mosquitoes tend to swarm, but this is on a whole new level." You flew around the swarm of mosquitoes, which was now little more than an inconvinence. "Aand here we go." you said as you dived down towards ground level before activating your suit's wings and flying towards the center of the mass of insects. "I think I'll need a bit more than just a can of picaridin." you said as you hurriedly put on your armor and made your way to the rooftop of your building.

Then you looked outside, and saw that the black mass was in fact a huge swarm of mosquitoes. "Oh great." you muttered as you started looking for your bug spray. Then you noticed several more mosquitoes buzzing around. You supposed the only reason you hadn't noticed it was because you were preoccupied with playing a video game on your console. Some sort of a black orb floated around town. Ech." you mumbled as you turned to look out of your window. You swatted it dead at a moment's notice. "I think you only need to look out of the window." the voice spoke.īefore you could look out, however, you noticed a mosquito land on your forearm. "Justice Kabuto, we require your help with a Demon-Class Mysterious Being that has appeared relatively close to your city!" the voice spoke. "(First) (Last), AKA Justice Kabuto speaking." you replied to the call. So there you were, checking up on your armor, making sure it was in mint condition and ready for a fight.Īnd as you dusted it off, a phonecall from the Hero Association rang from your phone. This powerful armor combined with your impressive physical condition had earned your high rank.Ībility Type: Physical, Stamina: 7, Intelligence: 6, Justice: 9, Endurance: 7, Power: 7, Popularity: 9, Effectiveness: 7, Fighting Ability: 8, with your total points being 60. After finding the armor in a cardboard box left on your doorstep alongside a letter from him on your 26th birthday, he mysteriously disappeared and was not heard from again by you or anyone else. Instead you had received it from your friend, who had designed and developed it to help you with your dream of becoming a hero and protecting the people of your city from the many threats that frequently arose. You hadn't designed it yourself, mind you. It was fairly lightweight and was very durable, being made of tough ceramic plates, kevlar and some technological components, including wings on the back that allowed you to fly and a strength-enhancing system of artificial muscles. On top of being stylish, your armor was practical. You were popular with the people, what with your stylish armor designed after the distinguishable Japanese Rhinoceros Beetle, a strong sense of justice and a personality that made you quite popular with the people of the city you lived in. You had supplanted the former holder of this rank, the Hero known as Heavy Tank Fundoshi after your quick rise to popularity. This story is set in an alternate setting where Mosquito Girl manages to survive Saitama's slap by a wicked stroke of luck, and then meets our story's hero Justice Kabuto, a hero with a strong sense of justice and a beetle-themed set of power armor that I like to think looks a bit like Yoshimitsu's outfit in Tekken 4, sans the skull-face. On the other hand, at least this one's a quite a big one, so it's not just a flimsy little snack for you people to chew on for the next few weeks/months. Don't expect these often, but I'll try to whip up something every once in a while. Either way, the last few weekend vacations I've been doing some fine-tuning to Tokyo Ghoul: King in the form of adding some music pieces and pruning and refining the text in former chapters.īut now you folks get a special treat an actual story. It's pretty great, since they're fairly consistent and frequent.
